Is a memory card really worth buying for Neo geo?

Hi,
Just curious, but I was thinking of getting the memory card for the neo geo home cart. Just want to know if it is recommended to get it, or if its just an extra feature that doesnt matter whether I have it or not. If its useful, in which way and what games?

Yes it is.

There are some games like Magician Lord, Pulstar or View Point where you just want to start up becuse it took you a long while to get there.

Talk to Kenny Boy, I *think* he has some NEW cards for sale... and I know he's reliable to work with.

Not really, if you getting like Magican Lord. But, if you using it for fighting games, it's hardly worth it. You can only save the spot where you got game over, or you beat the game and you save at the last boss. But, me I usually like to play thru the game.

So if you just like the fighting games, the card is hardly advisable but if you get the side scrolling action adventure games, it's worth it, is that right?

If you pay 100-400 dollars for a game, buying a $30 memory card is a no brainer.

Having a memory card is a MUST BUY, whether for the NEO or any other ame system there is no reason not to have one.

Buy one. Period.
