I was looking at the collection and I noticed that some peoplel had ,utiple copies of some games in the SAME language version. For instance one guy had 2 Dog Tag copies of Last Resort.

Is this common practice?

If you do this what games do yo uhave more than one of?

the only game i ever bought multiple copies of was sonic adventure for the dc... because I bought of those defective discs at launch.. I rarely buy multiples of any game no matter how rare it is or how good the gameplay is. I would have to really love the game in order to do that and lately the only game I bought 2 copies of was Ikaruga when it came out for the dc.

I never understood why someone will buy 2 exact copies of the same game.

I guess one to play and one to never open but I myself
a. Cant afford to do such a thing and
b. buy games to play them

For the ones that do that, hey its cool thats what you are into but quit hoarding all those rare games! shame

By the way the above text is meant to be a joke, in no way do I flame or insult anyone so please be gentle and PM me for where to send your extra copy of MOTW US

I don;t buy the same game for a system but I do buy ports. Like I have KOF 2001 for NGH and also the DC version and I buy all the snk ports I can get my hands on even if I own the NHG version

In my case, the only reason why I may have the occassional duplicate game is because sometimes I buy a large lot of games that the seller refuses to split up.

If the price of one of these bundles of games is good enough or if there's a game in that lot that I need for my collection, I'll buy it. I usually end up selling off any duplicates in my collection over time as I have no need for duplicates in my collection.

I collect US/Euro and JP homecarts, so of course
I have a US/Euro and JP version of each cart.
Not for all yet though. For my favorite games like,
Metal Slug X, KOF2001, KOF'95, etc.. I have multiple
copies. For instance I have 3 KOF2001, 3KOF'95,
2 Metal Slug Xs..

I have numerous extra copies for other games,
but that was just 'impulsive shopping' if you want
to call it that.

Thank You,

Jorge

Only cart I have two copies of is RBFF2 because it's my favorite Neo game of all time. Both are JP and one is sealed.

I own multiple games but its usually because when I buy bulk packages. For instance 4 Fatal Fury's, 3 Samurai Shodown's, 4 Samurai Spirits 2's, 3 Samurai Shodown MVS carts. I will sell them off eventually but sometimes I like to trade this stuff off. When I find the game I am looking for I will offer what I got in doubles and triples for trade or cash if need.
