DC/PS2/X-Box/Gamecube port?

If SNK vs Capcom: Chaos is released for the Dreamcast, which version would you get and why? Is the Dreamcast that much of a 2D power house? Or does people just want another game to be ported onto a "Dead" system? I want to have the best port when it comes out (At least intill the MVS version comes way down in price, about $100-$250, many years from now) frown

I think it should come out for the PS2 and have online play. Dreamcast is basically dead, except in Japan, which they only make a few games.

well man you know my feelings (stirred by alcohol as they are), i know the DC is dead and the few games it has coming out like maggots on some dead meat, but man it'd be dope to have a decent game again on the dc...........I THINK SOMONE JUST TOUCHED MY WINDOW, TIME TO CALL THE COPS YO......FUCKING CONDOS.

It would be a waste of a game, if it comes out on DC, because Dreamcast is basically dead in the US. If they come out with SVC on DC, it'll be only in JPN. They should have a port to the PS2 which allows online play, so I fight people online. buttrock

I'll probably get both the home cart version and the PS2 port, if they come out with one.

A PS2 port will help playmore sell a lot of copies(although not up to the FFX-2 caliber) and they should release it early for this to happen.Strike while the iron is hot. wink

Even the DC port MIGHT sell well because there is this small group of fans that would buy it and they are the ones who helped the 2000', 2001' and 2002' DC ports to sell fairly well.I am sure they will buy the SvC port if it comes out for the DC.

Not sure about the GC and the XBOX ports though.Playmore will never make a GC port but an XBOX port might seem possible although it might not be a good idea especially in Japan where the XBOX sales are mediocre and also due to the fact that this is a 2d game we are talking about.Gone are the days where a 2d fighter could sell 1 million copies.

I will pick either the DC or PS2 port if they are released.

I'd buy the homecart version if i had a homecart system. Also i don't think the MVS version is going to drop in price very fast

But when the ports come out i'll probably get the X-Box version if it supports online play.
