Question about Sticker on Neo Cart
I have a couple of Neo games that has 2 stickers on the cart.
A US sticker over a Jap Sticker. First I thought it was a bootleg, but after examination the sticker is genuine snk sticker
I didn't realize until recently, anybody know why that is.

It happened sometimes. SNK did it to change a game from jap to USA, and some times the other way. Since the carts play in a default languge based on the machine, sticker switching was a good way to change stock.

It happen sometimes because non Japanese carts are just ALL fake in their very nature.

SNK was a Japanese company and produced Japanese games.

Then used the overseas market to pile some more money.

Very much as the 99% of Japanese company did and do.

Let's just face it, men!

It is totally common to find a ORIGINAL cart with double sticker applied to it.
Under a US sticker, many times there is a jap sticker.
Just SNK's way....

Well it cant be too common, I havent come across it too many times,

Why dont they peel off the sticker and apply the new one? it would make more sense

Do collectors consider this double stickers devalue a Neo cart?

Depends on the release.

Some games many are like that, some games not.
I've seen it many many times over the years

IMO, they were lazy.
I doubt there's any better explanation.

we must of gotten the same kof 99, my US kof 99 is double sticker too, and my US Fatal Fury Special. Now I am going through all my games to check if its double sticker or not. And I curse SNK out loud every time I find one.

The first games I bought have the same kind of stickers, but in French language. Funny. Mind you, I also kept the little Neo Geo seal on the side of the box.

Sure it would make more sense, But again, Japanese company do not give a shit to the overseas market, to the outer market. SNK on top.
