I didn't bother to get any conversions before Arcade came on the scene. They supposedly don't use sac carts. I know that the clamshell case has to come from somewhere though.

buy a converter and the mvs cart if you dont want to spend 700 for blazing star
i just dont get it...
i like ff3,i think its a good game and its a shame loads of copies were destroyed

24 Carts? wow, commendable. (For the record, I wouldn't touch any of those with a 20' pole, with the possible exception of RBFF) What did you sac them for?

Well, many of these were sent to me for a conversions, so I'm not relly "responsible" for all of them. Many people prefer to have a nice looking japanese AES shock troopers rather than playing it on MVS. That's the reality, so let's face it.
Anyway that's "only" 24 carts. Let's look at Arcade's Ganryu for example, this single game is a run of 50 carts... Add Strikers 1945 (50 initial + more), plus all other releases, that's way more than me.
FF3 is not some kind of rare game anyway, as well as SS2 which you can still easily found new copies...
Oh, and I'm not especially brag about it, just wanted to hurt a little bit the anti sac guys and make them react

Yeah, it depends on people, as I said some prefer to have a nice looking cart rather than an MVS kit.

- Sacked FF3 beign played as a Shock Troopers
- FF3 sleeping on a shelve (just between FFS & FFRB), never played

Why would a person sac a FF3 when it sells for 80-$100?When you can sac an AOF1 or Samurai one for about $30-$40?.

Nothing wrong with conversions made from legit parts, your choice with what you buy. But I think it's pretty lame to wanna destroy a homecart so you can play a game that's to expensive or was released MVS only.
Get over it, and buy an MVS board, better yet a converter, what is the big deal to have to have that game in a homecart shell? It's stupid, if you want your MVS carts on the shelves next to your homecarts, get some shock boxs and print some inserts. I think the majority of people are starting to not want conversions, and those with them seem to be ridding their collections of them, because their quite worthless.

I think my ninja masters is as good looking if not better than any conversion and I did not have to pay out the ass or fuck off a cart to make it look nice

i have mvs home cart and cd.
i prefer mvs now because i have s video output on it.
looking at my homecart games looks ugly.
i dont really understand this great competition
to own all the NEOGEO games but hey... whatever.
