I Suck at KOF '98

Definitely try Goro and Clark, they're easy to use and cause a lot of damage...I u want to be cheap OMEGA RUGAL is the answer...
I've gone back from 2K also, but i didn't have any problem with '98...

I think the reason I'm having so much trouble going back is because in KOF 2k I'm a cheap bastard and rely on strikers.

Tell us who you used in 2000.
I always suggest Leona because she has basic damaging combos to start you off and complicated damaging combos to keep you interested... If you want easy cheese combos, Saisyu is your man. If you want good easy combos, use Terry.
I really avoid the Orochi team - but the new face team is very usable in '98... However, if I am going for score, I'd probably add o. yashiro - him Benimaru and Clark (clark has the highest point move in his clark spark).

Well, I'm done with my videogames for the evening. It was great fun though.
I eventually settled down with Iori, Benimaru, and Yashiro. I'll have to spend some more time with it to find the team I like.
I really never played KOF much. I'd spend about 20 minutes, get frustrated that I sucked and leave it alone.
I'm starting to think that I was just too impatient.
Anyhoo, back to work and then to bed.

I tell you what, I LOVE 98. Still the best KOF baby! Saisyu is a pimp if you like Kyo and Iori. I mean, he's got the fireball, and he even has two fire punches that connect with each other (sort of like Iori). He's got the dragon punch, a great kick combo with dp motion (that you can string), and also a few great starter attacks, such as a double hitting HP. Awesome character, and I say practice with him!
So many great chars in this one that aren't in many others!

Man I wish some of you guys were nearby Austin so I can show you what Kof 98 is all about(and alot of combos of course) I really love That game is my fav kof
