I've heard good things but I wondering if anyone here too has ordered from them...

MS3 English kits for $98? Yes, please!

Yep, although they aren't as cheap as they appear. That $98 game will get $20 in shipping tacked on, plus they want a bank transfer ($30) or Western Union ($30 or so) as payment... so... slap on $50 and you could find it stateside for the same price. They are really only a good deal on big orders, if you are only buying one or two things, pass. However, there service is top notch and they are great sellers, too bad they are not stateside is all :)

I have had many orders from Cosmicco. What is best to do is pool together a bunch of people, sometimes we did 3 to 4 people, and then split the shipping and wire costs.

They provide fast service, and I have not had a problem with anything from them yet. I believe Chimpmeister is the same way. I am sure of 3 more people who can say the same of them.

Basically, Cosmicco is a MVS gamers dream in most cases, BUT you will not get the box for the game, even though you will typically get the artwork.

Actually, the MS3 kit is complete with the box.

Yea, the shipping is $20, but still... That totals to be $118.

Also, you can send them International Money Orders, therefore avoiding the other costly methods! I think IMOs cost a a few bucks to send, correct?

Well, I have done that a few times... it is just a killer to wait for it, and they don't really like it. I use to send money orders and every time they would say... please Western Union this time. Also, it takes a month or so turn around on the MO payment, where as Western Union you see your game in three days or so. I've been buying from them for over three years, so I can say honestly... it looks cheap at first, but by the time you get done it is about the same as dealing over here, unless you do a big order.

To much hassle coupled with my lack of paitence..

I think I'll stick with something more local.

(still a great price on the kit though)

To tell you the truth, I have NEVER had a problem sending them a Money Order either, and they do not mind.

I just send the Pink kind, and send it Global Priority, gets there in 2 days, costs $5 for the MO, and $5 for the GP mailing postage. BUT, I have also done in excess of $5k of business with them, so that might matter.... But, bank transfers are quicker.

Thanks for all the info., good sirs...

They said I can send a IMO so I guess it's not too big of a deal.

I'll have to send it Global Priority, though... Thanks for that tip, Mouse_Master.

I'm just wondering how do you know the prices. Do you have to e-mail them for a list? Or do they have a newsletter or something?

Any help will be appreciated. And since I'm Europe ordering from them would be almost the same as doing so to the USA,

All that you have to do is e-mail them for prices. They're actually very quick to reply, too.

I've just e-mailed them. Yep, Metal Slug 3 for 98$ is VERY tempting...
Let's wait for their reply with the actual prices.
I'm aware the total cost with shipping and western union fee will be something like more than 120$ though....
In any case, if you pay them with western union, do you have to do it in US$ or their local currency? Once I tried to do one in US$ to Singapur and they only allowed me to do it in Singapur $...

For me, it's $118 total. $20 for shipping. You can send them a International Money Order avoiding Western Union costs. A IMO is about $4 and $5 to send.

So... About $130 total.

I'm not that sure I can use an international money order to them, I once tried to do that from my post office to USA and they told me that they had sold the exclusive to WU, so I had to do it through them. But maybe it's only to the USA.

In any case they've replied with their current list and man, prices are ridiculously cheap. However they didn't answer any of my other questions regarding a possible order.

How can I be sure they don't sell bootlegs?

They asked me to pay a fee of like $7 to bank trasnfer or when sending IMO. They also asked to use Western Union ad to mark "receive in local currency" if under $300. Still haven't placed an order yet as I was unsure if they were original MVS carts or not... they assured me that they are. But as if anyone will tell you they are boots! I'm still going to give them ago and order one cart 1st. :)

I'm having a look at a Western Union money order from and I don't see that "receive in local currency" option. I guess it would be better to ask them how much they want in their local currency and just sent an amount for that.

Yes, I'ma also very tempted to make and order but I'm concerned about bootlegs, too. I'd like to order something like 4 carts.

So could everybody please give us feedback about cosmicco?

Thanks in advance.

Damn! Sorry guys... I didn't know this, but: When I went to the post office today, they said I couldn't send a IMO to China as well as several other countries..

@$! Anyway, I wouldn't worry about bootlegs. They have a good reputation.

It's just too pricey to do a wire transfer so I'm gonna have to order MS3 form mdgamesales.com.

Get the PINK IMO for Japan and you can use that for Hong Kong, that is what I did in the past.

I bought from them, and my Metal Slug 2 MVS cart was COVERED in dirt. Looked like they left the motherfucker outside in a dust storm or somehting.

If you really want somehting from Cosmicco, order from MD Gamesales. You'll pay about the same price (what with S/H and bank/WU fees) and it will likely come from Cosmicco.

If you get Cosmicco to send you a price list (Excel spreadsheet), anything that has a * next to it is a bootleg. Sometimes you can ask about the * stuff and if you ask specifically for a NON Bootleg, they'll send it to you.

Well, me and a friend are going to order something like 3 MVS carts each from cosmicco, of the cheap ones (well, all are, but I mean under 50$) and see how it goes. If we are satisfied we might order more.

Since we live in Europe shipping is the same from USA or Asia, so for us is much cheaper Cosmicco than mdgamesales, even adding the wiring costs.

Shit, some mdgamesales prices almost DOUBLE the ones at Cosmicco, Like Last Blade 2 (28-50), Real Bout 2 (18-40), Garou (45-70), KoF 98 & 99 (38-70), etc...

But the way, thanks for the "*" warning, you are right, some games have it and I was wondering what it meant. Anyway only a few ones are bootlegs if that's true, and none of the ones we are interested in have the *.
We are considering 2 Garous, KoF 98&99, Real Bout 2 and Shock Troopers 2. We all know there are a bunch of bootleg Garous out there, do you think it's safe to order them?
If we get satisfied we might consider Metal Slug 3 in our next order.
