Question #2 - what's a good place where you can get an MVS converter? Do they still even have those? Are they reliable? If you don't know what I'm talking about it's a cartidge you plug into the AES system, and you can put a MVS cart on top. Is that shit safe?

Yes they still have them .I have heard that you need to have your systems slots tighted for it to work though .

You should check out <a href="http://www.neogeousa.com" target="_blank">www.neogeousa.com</a> for your convertor. The convertor itself is very reliable ( it will go on forever, judging by the buildquality ). Thing is; you'd better be sure your NeoGeo slots are in good condition, as the sound or graphics (mostly sound on my Neo) will be fucked up. The good part: this can be fixed by replacing the current, worn, slots with new ones. The bad part: this will set you back at least $89.99.....
