I need to know how this whole RGB Scart thing works. I really want to get everything up and running in RGB but it seems really hard finding any info. I went to gamesx.com and I am not technical at all with electronics. I am thinking of purchasing a SCART compatable TV. I need to know what you all recommend from the UK. I will pay the shipping costs if it is just a simple plug & play connection for RGB. I know there are SCART switch boxes and was wondering will this work? Also, on the SCART cables, why is there no sound output? How do you get sound also with RGB output?

As opposed to the person helping you, paying for the shipping costs? ;)

I had a European TV and hooked it up with a standard Europeam 9pin DIN to SCART cable and there was sound + everything else. Very crisp graphics, simply no aberration whatsoever. This 9pin DIN to SCART was released by Neo Geo themselves but are fairly generic. (at least in Singapore)

And yes, if you get the Neo Geo one, it is configured to the Japanese SCART. You'll have to open the SCART plug end and swap the pins about. www.gamesx.com should have the difference in pinouts illustrated.
