why not to rerelease a new home system ???

I just wonder ! do you think that 'playmore' could rerelease some new home system.

they are making games, that's very good - but if we could have the chance to buy a new system with all those games, it would be much better !

the production cost are now lower than in the past, so I think the price could more competitive. even for $300 I'm sure people will buy it ?

how much does R&D cost? That would most likely exceed playmore's budget - or do you want to reproduce the old black and gold?

i really dont think nthere's a market anymore. if you figure playmore is producing 500 jap and 500 eng of any game i doubt they would sell anymore then 5000 consols world wide. it's just not profitable. but don't get me wrong i would love to see one but i don't think it's going to happen.

A repro. of the neo would be cool, then they could start making games for it again. but with all the Super 3D systems i doubt it will happen either. kinda sad if you think about it.

The masses want crapy , 3D games , Neo is far from that , 2D with quality games .

Hell yeah. Neo for life yo. A reproduction would be awesome, but like everyone else, I doubt it would ever see the light of day. Rock on Jables.

Of course it sounds very well ... For all the fans we are, but for the others?
For my part I find the idea very good... and mostly if the new home sytem is in an other color (the production is the same, only the material is defferent).
after all the Neo-Geo is the oldest home system (since games still release on it), it's a good reason to release new home systems! Nowadays it's seen any "gold PS1" ,"silver PS1", "limited X-BOX edition" and the same for the game cube! If one system got the right to do that IT'S THE NEO-GEO!

I've already thought of this new release and for sure I would buy it, or try to buy it, even if the prise is high (limited edition?? ).

However, since BREZZA soft is on the same side as Playmore, why not releasing the crystal system next year as it was the case with the neo-geo? Maybe it's a better solution for playmore, I don't know...
Afterall this system isn't so expensive, and I think the NEO fans would follow the snk's spirit through this new system...
