Is Power Spikes II that bad?

I enjoyed the first one a lot.

Now that I own a MVS I would like to try Power Spikes II (it's a cheap title anyway) but, reading Kazuya's review, I've seen it's a terrible title...

What do you think?

I remember playing the CD version once but cannot remember anything special about the game so it really must be shitty
