Which Neo Game has the best music? I'm about to make a list and i want to hear what you people think. Of course, waku waku7, but more?

Personal favorite has got to be The Dunk Dream soundtrack. Gotta love that 80's rap w/ the scratching and sampling. Doesn't get better than that IMHO.

Fatal Fury Special tunes for the melody matter.

Metal Slug 3 for the best use of the YM2610. That one is a very agressive SDT. probably one of my very favourites. ;)

The original Samurai Shodown, I miss the clear, rich and varied soundtrack that game had compared to all of its sequels.

World Heroes II has a decent soundtrack as well.

Earthquake tune is TOP NOTCH. Shiranui Gen-Han stage SDT is also very addictive.

CHAM-CHAM's stage theme from SS2, MUDMAN's stage theme from WH2, and the PAO PAO CAFE stage theme from GAROU DENSETSU were all pretty funky.

I always liked Mutation Nation and Eightman's soundtrack. I like stage 4 - 3 in Eightman the best. I also think that Top Hunter has real nice ending music. Last Resort has got some great tunes as well. :)

I'd agree with both of these. I always liked the scoe in WH2 and I actually just got Samurai Shodown and I gotta' admit that it's pretty cool as well.

Personally, I always loved the Magician Lord soundtrack. That tune in the first level i sjust amazing in my opinion. It was simple music in many cases (it was one of the original games after all) and in some cases you can obviously hear where the samples start and end, but I think it was still an excellent score.

The original Art of Fighting has a great soundtrack too. I was just playing it the other night and was impressed by the sound quality.

I would have to say Real Bout Fatal Fury 2. It has pretty damn good music, considering it is only a video game. I wish they remixed Laurence Blood's old theme, instead of making a new song for him.

i like Earthquake's theme from SS1. Although in SS2, they made a totally fucked up new song for him. And Thank god Galford got a cool new theme in SS3, instead of his gay old theme from SS1 and SS2.

So many superb soundtracks to choose from...

Probably one of my all times faves is Metal Slug X, the music fits the game so well, and is superb in quality.

Cd Version of Real Bout Special has some of the greatest SNK tunes ever. Hon-Fu, Joe Higashi, Krauser, Laurence, Nightmare Geese, Sokaku, Yamazaki and Kim's Themes were all excellent.

The very first level in Metal Slug just pumps you up like mad.

Also, I second KOF '96 but would like to include Baseball Stars 2.
