Although we are all Neo owners of some capacity (AES, CD, MVS) we all turn off our systems and sometimes favour (is it possible?) games from other systems. Just wonder what other tastes my fellow NEO-phytes crave from time to time:

Multiplayer FPS (6 man XBOX Halo link, very cool)?

Role playing games (not my thing)?

Story based adventure (Resident Evil in surround sound, the only way to play)?

Strategy (still love 6 player Genesis Risk)?

Shooters (Star Wars: RS2 reason I bought 'Cube)?

Racing (Still love Test Drive: Le Mans for DC)?

Sports (NHL '94 for Genesis, 'nuff said)?

Platform (Only if it's Mario)?

What else do you play besides your coveted NEO?

I play GTA3 (well, I will when I get my PS2 for my birthday, very soon...)

I love Capcom fighters, etc...
I like RTS games a lot. Starcraft and RA2 mostly...
I am NOT a big Counterstrike player.

I love games. Even really terrible ones. The more you get into them, the more you grow to like them.

Besides the neo, I love RPGs. Mostly on the PS1, PS2, and SNES.

Currently playing Ephemeral Fantasia.

I used to love RPGs and play them almost exclusively. Lately I absolutely detest them. I think I just played them too much. I've been on a shooter kick as of late. I just can't get enough of shooters. If only I could afford Blazing Star or Pulstar AES I think I'd be in heaven. Hmm... other than Neo fighters I haven't played much in the last few months. It's been a strict diet of Neo games for me. My PS2 is in a box in the closet, as is my XBOX.....

Currently I have been on a Survival Horror kick as I just completed 3 in a row starting with Onimusha on the Xbox (beat the PS2 version a year ago) then I moved on to Onimusha 2 for the Japanese PS2 and as of last night I finished Resident Evil/Biohazard for the Gamecube.

Not sure what I will start next maybe Maximo and for quick fix fighters Dead or Alive 3, Tekken 4 and Virtua Fighter 4.

The next RPG I will start will probably be Vandal Hearts or Final Fantasy 10 thought I did beat the Jap version not long after release.

Fighters (No 3D except Project Justice, plz)

RPG (Stuck on Dragon Warrior VII - Need 1 more immigrant to complete the mall town, then I beat it!)

Strategy (haven't played any for a while since I got stuck in Advance Wars tho.. Games should be fun, not an exercise in frustration)

Multi-player Party games w/friends (GREGarious games like Worms World Party, Power Stone 2, Smash brothers, Mario Party, Sonic Shuffle)

Gun games (Police 911, HotD2)

Puzzle games (Puyo Pop, Puzzle fighter, Baku Baku, Tetris)

Beat 'em up action (Sengoku, D&D, Final Fight, State of Emergency, Dynamite Cop, Zombie Revenge, Dynasty Warriors 3)

Pseudo-sports games (Super dodge Ball, Super Baseball 2020, Arch rivals)

Avant-garde/unique games (Incredible crisis, DDR, Seaman, Jet Grind Radio, Samba de Amigo)

My tastes tend to differ from most ppls.

Goofy ass dating sims
Music Games (most bemani except DDR)
Shooters
Fighters

its all good... I usually like the more bizzare then work into the norm... but I would play Tokimemo even if I had no idea what was going on, it is just a damn good game, and Pop n Music is just too addictive to me.

* Almost anything from Capcom.
* Castlevania, the finest series ever.
* Final Fantasy.
* Doom / Quake / Heretic / Hexen (not nearly as much now).

Well, Neo is always tops. :D But I've got a LOT of systems... RPGs float my boat, if they're done right (and note that my definition of "right" probably doesn't coincide with yours ). I've got a ton of games on DC, PSX, SNES, TurboGrafx-CD, PS2, NES, NGPC and a couple on GBA.

Rakugaki Showtime is probably one of the best multiplayer games EVER.

Considering I haven't gotten my system yet, I play everything else. I mostly play the crap out of my Genesis and Duo. The newer systems also get their fair share of playtime, except for the Game Cube. I haven't really played that much at all.

A little bit of Shenmue II and Sin and Punishment. As of late though, even with all my systems, I still get bored playing. Maybe it's lack of time?

Great topic : I play every system under the sun . I own most of em too ((even a Bandai Playdia))! Although I detest most US made games ((especially ones based on movies ((BARF)) , But although the NEO is the king I must also give PROPS to the Super Nintendo/Super Famicom ! Super NES was a benchmark system and deserves credit . Chrono Trigger .....aah the memories
