Just got this today... WOW.

Took me a little to get into it, but my finger is KILLING ME. This is definitely a game that I will have to use my Neo CD pads for.

The graphics have to be some of the best 2-d graphics that I've seen on a console in a very long time. It's not the most detailed or anything, they are JUST F'N COOL LOOKING. The CGI stuff looks very stylish.

The gameplay is FAST...and FURIOUS. (god, I hate cliche's.) It's very very fun to play and it's definitely a change of pace from the normal Neo fare.

I haven't beaten it, as I had about 20 continues and called it a day. (on EASY level)

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! (on mvs, at least!)

Yeah, I owned it on MVS, and I was just blown away by the graphics of the 2nd level. Me.. blown away by the graphics from a machine so old! Great game, and VERY hard.

Blazing Star is one of the top shooters on the Neo IMO. I'm very happy with my newly acquired converted cart :D lucky me.

It's an excellent shooter, but I still prefer Pulstar for some reason; probably because it's a complete rip off of R-Type, which I used to play like mad in the arcade. :)

I definitely agree this is a great game, it's definitely made my list of Neo games to get. I also agree that you really have to play this on a pad.

I think it should have been renamed: "Carpal Tunnel Syndrome: The Game" :(
