I went to a local arcade sales dealer today and was perusing their selection of MVS games and asked if I could try one. So he said yes, and led me to his MVS machine. He mentioned it was a table top. Was there ever a tabletop made?

It was about as big as a early 1980's model microwave. The front opened up to display the monitor on the left and the coin, power supply, etc on the right. This was all shelved above the 1 MZ motherboard. I believe it had a plastic woodgrain finish. The buttons looked like they were standard NEO (configuration too) and there was some Neo-Geo graphics under the protective plexi on the control surface. It just repeated 'Neo Geo' all over in grey and white.

So is this a conversion or a SNK released thing?

Big Toys over on Mound. I saw it driving out to Utica today. Really tiny shop, and WAY over priced. Since you're from Sterling Heights, and if you've been there: take a right from where you walk in the store and it is in the middle shelving (right across from some pinballs machines) There was a note that said it's on hold for someone.

Going to do anything in Royal Oak is kind of a rip off. A guy I bought some stuff from was buying one from an arcade in West Bloomfield (I think) 2 slot with two games for $500. If you're anywhere near Flint, call Eddie's Amusements and see if they have one. And check what their price is.

Briggs-I checked your site first, since I knew you had most of the stuff, and that doesn't look like it at all. I'll see if I can get time and draw up a diagram.
