Is there a sudden lack of interest on Neo-Geo gaming?

Puzzles me to see the hype gone downhill...

DHP is dead, market is dead, hell NGF is dead.

WTF is going on?

Anyone pumped about a new Slug?

I have sort of lost interest in the Neo as of late...

Prices have gone downhill, so now is the time for you "gamers" to grab some titles.

It's great that the price are dropping for neo geo games...but still even though they are dropping i don't make enough money to even get them. oh well... <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

There might be a halt in Neo gaming because of newer systems that invade the markets: PS2, GC, XBOX. Or simply, money :( .

Also, those system have some of the most interesting games ever: Tekken 4, Virtua Fighter 4, and most important, BioHazard.

Myself, I haven't bought alot of Neo games coz I'm going back to SFC again now, and soon maybe Mega Drive!

Game prices fluctuate. Some old guard gamers become disinterested or otherwise preoccupied - too many of the same title are available for sale or trade and the prices drop. Then, out of nowhere a new group of gamers and/or guys getting back into the system come back and the prices spike again. This is strictly supply and demand in action. I personally have taken this time to fill in holes in my Neo Geo library with titles that were too costly just a year ago. The biggest impact on prices drop out seem to be with the common titles. Really rare titles still demand a high price for the most part, at least that has been my experience. The AES, CD and MVS price guides on this site are in need of a major update.

Actually, Both VF4 and Tekken 4 suck ass. I'm sorry but a pretty game with nice graphics and no soul is shit. Also, I really dislike VF4. Wanna know why most people prefer Tekken 4? Because VF4 sucks. VF has always sucked, and no, just because you like VF more than Tekken doesn't make you more hardcore, or more of a gaming aesthetic - you're just stupid. I feel no pity for Sega.

The SFC and MD are where the good games are to be found. Still, I prefer the neo.
