How does "Blue's Journey" rank amongst Neo Geo games?

For what it is (Action/Adventure game), how does it rank up there with other top Neo Geo games?

And does it compare with action/adventure games on other systems like Super Mario World?

I like it. As Mario-ish as the Neo can get, complete with cuddly colors and neat main characters. Classic jump'n'run action.

The game is very easy, even the last boss is a matter of a few easy-to-guess patterns, but that's okay, it's short but fun, that and the different pathes give the game a decent amount of replay value.

I always come back to it when I'm struck by the Magician-Lord-kicked-my-ass-again blues...

So guys, if I didn't like Top Hunter because it is too cutsey, despite the good gameplay and quality graphics then will I absolutely hate Blue's Journey? [Edit: Just like a dimwit, I just read the reviews from here. Its like SMB2 huh? Ok fellas I may like Blue's Journey(Raguy) b/c I think SMB2 is still my fav Mario game)

Will the characters in my fighting games, NAM 75, and Elta beat up Blue while I sleep at night in ultra speed orgy mode?

I like this game ..I found it to be close in comparison to Super Mario Bros..but with some extras that I see in other games..It's cool..

This platformer on the Neo is as close to the Super Mario games as you can get. It's a pretty good platformer, it's a good non-fighter on the Neo.
