Just saying hello and other things

Hi people, im knew here, although i have been lurking on and off for a couple of years. I will post another time to tell you all my Neo Geo story, but for now i have a question regarding Samurai Shodown 1. I got this game second-hand, but, on the front it says Samurai Shodown, and on the cart, it is the japanese "Samurai spirits", is this normal? Also, there is no blood in the game, well, you know, its all WHITE. Seeing as how i had a PAL machine, i thought this might have been the reason it is censored, so i took the machine apart and snipped the PAL1 wire ect, so its running in NTSC mode. But, the blood was still white, any ideas guys?

i dont have a sam sho 1 game to my name anymore
but i believe with ss2 you can change the language
to jp to get that and blood. as for ss1 i dont believe
that option is in there.
its either have a jp system or you can have some
bios or whatever installed to your system.
