What, for you, is a complete set.

I have a minty Last Blade cart and loose Last Blade 2 MVS cart. Do I have a complete Last Blade set?

I don't think so.

What for you is a coherent posting?

The one above this one?

I don't think so.

What? I omit one question mark and you decide the whole post makes no sense?

No, it's just you didn't define yourself what constitutes a "complete set. Just that you had two carts and that you din't think you did.

See the whole point of language is to transmit complete ideas.

Well since there are MVS kits, that is what should be a complete set of MVS IMHO (which includes even the bubble baggie BTW) :p wink

But in practice, whatever legit version of the games you have (MVS, AES, CD) should allow you to claim that you own a complete set, because you can play them both.

Well, there are two Last Blade games. Had I been talking about Super Sidekicks I might have said, 'I have a minty home Japanese carts for the first three and an MVS kit of Ultimate 11'. The reason I choose the Last Blade games was because this was the series that we were talking about in chat on this topic.

You still haven't explained WHAT a complete set is to you and WHY it is or isn't.

To me, a 'complete set' is any product in its complete status as when if was released out of the factory.

Thus, speaking of an AES, a complete set is basically a cart with its case and insert, manual in its baggie complete with eventual registration card. Original sealing sticker would make the set more complete as well. Any eventual extra stuff originally included in the product has to be present as well.

Obviously, all parts have to be 'unswapped' even inbetween identical products. This to make the set 'originally complete'.

This post it dedicated to Bonuskun.

No, and I don't mean to. I was asking what it was to you. I don't really have an opinion on it - I know how the collectors will draw the line, I'm interested in how the gamers will.

Well, to answer your question on what I consider a complete MVS set would be this:

Carton box with matching serials
Art set
bubble wraps

For me, since i could care less about the brown boxes, I consider just having the COMPLETE art set and cart good enough.

I know other members feel that you must own everything for it to be complete and to an extent that is correct. It is just a preference.

Was there ever any additional packaging for a Neo game. Example: When you used to be able to buy from Toys R Us did the cart come in shrink wrap?
