A New York Neo-Geo Gathering??!

Hey folks. I was talking to my friend who runs the FYE arcade in Bayshore Long Island, and he was thinking of having another lock-in at the arcade.

The lock-in's used to just be for the Bemani games and it still is. You can play any of our Bemani games for 50 cents insted of a dollar or 75cents.

But now it's exploded into an all out everything goes gamer's night. And I do mean night..ALL night, the last one ended at 7AM!!

Here's the deal.

If you come to the arcade and you want to stay you get a rist band, that means you can stay for the night.

Bring some snacks, some drinks.. but the main rule of it all is to PLEASE clean up after yourself. We stayed after to clean up the arcade because it was a complete mess.

Now, if you want to play any other systems, bring them and a Television. Last time we had 5 TV's going playing games like BeatMania IIDX, Tetris Attack, Keyboard Mania, Street Fighter2 Turbo. You bring it, you play it.

If you want to set up a just for fun tournamet you can do so as well.

We have one Tekken4 Cab, and I was thinking of putting my 2 Slot MVS on it, but I only have 2 games... BaseBallStars Pro and Sengoku 1.. nothing to shout about.

I need to get the date from him, but were thinking Friday August 22nd.

I'm trying to see if he'd get SNK vs Capcom Chaos. I told him lots of people will want to play it. They did a Capcom vs SNK2 tournament in the EB in the mall and 50 somthing people showed up.

So hopefully he'll consider getting in time for the lock-in. If not I'm sure we'll have other good games to play.

So if you are interested please post back and let me know. Once I get the A-OK and the final date I will post an offical topic with full directions on how to get to the arcade.

Hm Bayshore, thats pretty close to where I live. I'm from West Babylon.

I'm going to talk to Ted and get the full A-OK. That way I will be able to post Times, dates, and you just let me know if your coming and what you'd like to bring.

And the arcade is in the SouthShore Mall, near the food court. It's a site to behold when your in the mall at 6AM and nobody's there!

Wow... I thaught there were more then 4 Neo-Geo fans in New York... guess I was wrong... Only 3!

Well tommorow, I will get the truth from Ted, if the mall will allow us to do another lock-in.

He ususally has to bitch to them to let us stay, so if he get's the A-OK I will get rid of this post, then make an offical post, with directions.

I'm interested, and I imagine Quixo and JHendrix could come too if we ironed out a date far enough in advance.

Here's the line up of arcade games that they have now. You still need to pay to play them, but you bring your home systems..there free.

We won't have neo-geo games unless you bring them....

This is the final bump. It's 2am and I need to get up for work tommorow, so I can't post all the details.

But it will happen on the 22nd.

The only rule, which is a weird rule you must registure on the new New York DDR Players site, <a href="http://www.onistyles.com." target="_blank">www.onistyles.com.</a> Thats it. go to the site, registure up for the boards, post a few times, your in.

Now I know alot of you guys don't like the DDR players, but once you talk to them, there nice people. So don't be scarred when you go you'll just see tons of ddr players.

It's a weird rule but Ted, the guy that runs the arcade and is helping run the new site needs some new members so hopefully this will get him some new members.

So tommorow afternoon I will post directions, what you can bring, times, and eveything else you need.
