Does anyone know the background history of Playmore? They must be really rich to have outbid Capcom on SNK's properties.

Before that, I've never heard of them

The only thing that I know is that the president of Playmore is the former president of SNK. Other than that I know your sig pic is funny as hell. :D

Playmore is a Japanese company. Eolith is a Korean developer that worked with Playmore on KOF 2001 and 2002.

Playmore is just basically SNK II from what I can tell. When the original SNK failed, they reformed a new company and took over all the former SNK properties, in theory to take a new stab at the Neo-Geo lineup with a different business strategy. Since they're also doing Pachislot, I presume they've decided to diversify a little bit since like Big Bear said, the Neo-Geo isn't exactly a gold mine market.
