I was just wondering about the following
(a) what happened to Aicom after they did Pulstar (and the Neo CD version of Viewpoint)? Where they absorbed by SNK like Nazca, did they become Yumekobo and did Blazing Star afterwards or ...?
(b) Why did Sammy just do ONE single Neo game which was a technical masterpiece in `92, hell it still looks fantastic in `02! Almost every other third party publisher (Visco, Hudson, Data East, Technos) did at least 2 games no matter how bad their first was. But Sammy stopped after Viewpoint - why? Did they have an issue with SNK to make them leave in anger?
Btw: It is really a shame that the sequel Viewpoint 2064 finally did not make it to N64 cart any more. I played the almost complete version and this was an awesome shooter! <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" />
