I've never played this game, or even seen screenshots until today. Unfortunately, without trying to sound like a "blockhead", this was released in 1994. What I'm getting at is, will it live up to my expectations in terms of gameplay and graphics?

Can anybody tell me what to expect? How long to beat it? Two-player? Graphics/sound? I'm contemplating this one, and advice is helpful.

I read Bobak's review, which was good, but I'd like to know if it will keep one going like MD3 and so on and how 2 player vs. 1 player differs, etc.

Thanks!

The best thing I can say is if you've played either Nightmare in the Dark, Bubble Bobble or especially Snow Brothers you'll know what you expect (there's an excellent Genesis version of Snow Bros which I've emulated before). I don't think you can compare its lasting value to MD2 or 3. They're different animals.

It definitely more of an 'old fashion' cooperative arcade game. The type of game you replay to beat the high score.

It's isn't very long, but long enough (perfect for the arcade environment it was designed for). It take about 20-30 minutes to beat from what I recall.

It was made in 94, but it seems they tweaked in the time it wasn't released to smooth out graphics, sound, and speed -so the techical aspects run very smoothly.

Not worth a premium price ($175+), I must say.

It is not worth the price to play unless you can get it really cheap. Only a must for those who want to complete their collection.
