You can get drunk and play video games! What an awesome combination! They have tons of new Sega games plus others too and even some classics up near the bar like Mario Bros., Ms. Pac-Man etc.

Have you been to the sunnyvale arcade?
SNK machines are a waste of space there when I'm not around. I feel like I'm the only one plpaying them - me and little kids who just got their asses kicked on Tekken 4...
Anyhow, I really want to argue against Chinatown Fair from being nominated as the best arcade. It's that shit hole in NYC where fat ass fuckers kept me from playing KoF 2001 because they were having a CvS 2 "Tournament."
Fucking scrubs!

This is news to me!
Finally a decent arcade in Mpls!
Sounds like a place I'd visit on a regular basis, and I will!

That sounds suspiciously like a place near me called Jillians... That Gameworks place even stole their tagline:
http://www.jillians.com
I didn't really like the place, it's filled to the brim with hundreds of machines you either sit in, ride on, or use a gun/firehose... There was a single Pac Man machine tucked away in the corner that nobody played, that was the only game that was controlled with a joystick... All the games are overpriced like hell, it seriously is almost $2 for a single play of any game. You don't use quarters, you get a "Player Card" which you can go back and recharge, I guess that's to make you feel like you're not actually spending money... They don't have a bowling alley, but rather they have 5 lanes of "Virtual Bowling" which is like huge 100" screens and you roll the ball with your hands... That costs $5 a play, so I didn't bother...
It really could have been a lot better. I haven't gone back in a while.
Now all I have is this little room tucked away in the Fort Meade PX, it has about 10 or so machines... I think they got rid of their MVS, and they haven't changed games in a while...![]()
My old stomping ground was this arcade called Flickers... It was in a mall that is completely torn down now, but it was amazing... It truly was the embodiment of the "golden age" of my childhood... Just thinking about it gives me chills... They had 3 MVS machines, and that's where I first played "The Getaway" (pinball game). Mortal Kombat II attracted crowds upon crowds... Those truly were the days...![]()

Yeah I've been to the Sunnyvale Golfland a couple times . I played KOF 2000 there on some weird funky cab . At least the Sunnyvale golfland has KOF 2000 , Milpitis only has KOF 97 .
