Right now KOF98 market price is around $102 - $120 (US version).......
Well......I have no idea why coz it's the best game in the series.

Anyways, to me, it is hard to compare 2000 with 2001. The feel a lot different to me, and the strikers are practically not there or abused. I dont think 2000 was shit, it was just different. If you like strikers, then 2000 is your game. I personally like 2000 and 2001. But I dont go in the game thinking, 2001 sure kicks the shit out of 2000 because of this that and the other, or vice versa.. To me, they are completely different to play, both with good and bad points...
98 still is the best. 2001 has some very cool qualities that hopefully will be approved upon in 2002.
If we want to start talking about shitty KOF's, lets hit on 97.
Edit: 98 is probably dropping just like all the others.. Time takes it toll and collectors only want supa minty fresh new carts

kof 2001 is really pretty bad imo.
its just not high on my list of kofs.
its at the bottom actually.
94 is the shit because thats my own business.
95 is okay cause its a good improvement on 95 with edit.
96 is near perfection for me. i just love it.
97 is very worth playing because i can play if for the story forever.
98 is the shit. the shit. make no mistake.
99 is almost like 97 too me. the story brings it out and makes it interesting.
no roll backs suck but still balanced as hell.
2000 is what 99 should have been. definitely better than what people
give it credit for. the presentation alone is god fucking awsome.
2001 is strange.
i havent gotten as much time with it as i d like but
it doesnt sit right with me.
i ve been told its quicker like 97 and it seems like it.
but i along with a friend agree that the controls are
definitely different. and i mean come on.
the music is pretty bad.
its almost livable but not even.
i mean all the previous kofs are on the list above
just because of the tunes.
when i play 96 i look forward to playing against
the psycho soldiers because their tunes are the shit.
95 italy team rules. as does the ladies. as well as the girls in 96.
94 ikaris is my tunes. as well as 95.
then forward it all the way to 99.
2000 got a tiny bit generic but still was pretty dam good.
and i really dont wanna step on peoples toes but i really dont like the new art.
and i wont say more on that.
i ll be getting it from ncs when i get my funds back in order, some of the characters
really interest me. but thats about it.
the backgrounds are okay but, i dont really know how i can
say this but the bitches in the back almost get annoying.
how slutty. otherwise theyre okay.
i really do like igniz 's background.
funny how they forget who made them.
