i just visited the bearcade in berkely and i was really impressed. of course there was fierce cvs2 and mvc2 competition but there was also 3 mvs cabs 1 of which had kof2001 with quite a few players giving it attention. i just felt id share that with everyone in case there are any bayarea neo fans interested.

I have been in that arcade before. I like it. IT has been a while since I played there. Maybe I will go there some time next week.

sounds like it's a campus arcade (Be"arcade", get it?! Man, to think that school gets ranked so high and they have an arcade named bearcade). Just drive to Berkeley.

Yeah, Kiselgof is a student there. I was always under the impression that he actually played games, as well as collect them. Maybe you should give him a ring when you go there.

LOL! Funny Charlie, real funny. ;)

I do play my games fairly often as a matter of fact, just depends on which game it is. Metal Slug 4 is dominating most of my play time right now, along with Sengoku 3, Zupapa and Ninja Commando

The Bearcade is great if young asian boys and another crappy KOF game are what you're looking for. <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" />

If you want fine 18-year old puss and a good Metal Slug session, you're in the wrong town. Try the city across the Bay. Last time I was visiting San Francisco State, their arcade had Strikers 1945 as well as about a dozen other machines with the usual Crapcom offerings. USF, on the other hand, had a dedicated 4-slot with Metal Slug and Puzzle Bobble until the bottom floor of University Center was closed for redecorating. The latter still features the best of what "barely legal" has to offer :D
