Hello everyone. I have a question, and I'm not sure it belongs in here, but I was also not sure it belonged in the other forum that I thought it might be proper for. So, if this doesn't belong here, please don't strangle me. *heh*

Because I'm looking to move to Japan for a year to go to school in the next few months, I'm trying to come up with as much money for the trip as possible. I've already began selling off my decent NGPC collection piece by piece, but now I've decided to also put up some of my NeoGeo AES and MVS stuff. Problem is, I'm nowhere near as familiar with proper pricing for this stuff as I am for the NGPC stuff.

I looked at the online price list, and I'm wondering how accurate that is. The two big titles I'm wondering about are Last Blade 1 US AES and Metal Slug 2 JPN (I think... maybe US? Arg. How about both prices until I check it tomorrow to figure out for sure...) AES. Both are in perfect condition. What are realistic prices for both of those games? I don't want to really screw people on the pricing, but I also don't want to get screwed myself.

Also, I've got a one-slot MVS board. What is a reasonable price for that as well? I'm tossing in Art of Fighter 3 and Fatal Fury 3 (and possibly also SamSho4 and Real Bout FF if they aren't claimed seperately). I don't even have a CLUE what an MVS board is worth, so I don't want to go into selling it totally blind.

One last thing. In case any of you ever ran into them previously, I was the person doing the little project to make replacement NGPC hardshell replacement covers. Would there be any demand for me releasing the Photoshop template that I whipped up to make replacement covers? I've still got the template, the five or six replacement covers I created, and a bunch of empty clamshells just sitting here not doing anything, so if anyone still cares I might put it up for people to grab.

Thanks for any help on this matter!

Most of the time if I was going to buy or sell a game I would go by the price list here on neo-geo.com.It is pretty accurate.

well, you can get a brand new one for something between 150 and 200$. I'd say that something around 100 to 120$ is quite reasonable for a one slot. I'm not a complete expert on mvs stuff but i often check prices... Anybody else has an idea on that ?

Lucky stiff... are you going to Japan on exchange or a teaching program? Oh, I would shoot a little low of the price guide if you wanna sell..

Well, yes, technically I do currently live in Nebraska. But my heart belongs in Silent Hill. Well, that is, if it actually existed. *heh*

I went for a one-month intensive Japanese program last year at a college in Osaka through a local college. I applied this year, but also stated that I was interested in the one year program. I got accepted. *shrugs*

If you're in that much doubt, you could always just throw your carts to the wolves on eBay and let the market decide the selling prices for you...
