I was in Little Tokyo here in LA this afternoon and picked up the KOF2k1 soundtrack. Nice stuff (and not that really trite arranged crap).

For those of you that do have the CD, who are the three characters on the back of the booklet? (There's two alien looking creatures, giant & dwarf, and then a chick that appears to be wearing a vest, but no shirt...).

I also picked up a double-CD for KOF2k (I already have the terrible arranged CD), as well as a Space Channel 5 remix and a double CD of classic Famicom/NES tunes (with song-sheets!).

Other than today's purchases? One CD.

I actually hate most Japanese Game Soundtracks because they're usually horribly remixed/"instumentalized". I can't stand J-Pop, and I think there is no musical value to 99% of Anime soundtracks.

So, in a nut shell, not much.

Is there anyplace online that sells the KoF2k1 soundtracks? I don't think I would be able to hitch a ride to Little Tokyo.

I also have the KOF 2001 OST. It seems to be growing on me the more I listen to it. I also happen to be a fan of game music CDs. My collection is quite large infact. Maybe I post what I got one of these days, when I have plenty (And I do mean plenty!) of time.

I have the KoF2k1 OST as well. I hated it at first, but after playing the game a lot of times, the music isn't that bad anymore. I wish there was a KoF2k1 AST. I love the arranged music, ecspecially 2k's. You see that pic of Terry and Rock in the 2k1 cd book. Rocks eating a hot dog. I just didn't understand why they didn't put a voice collection on the cd.
