I realise most people have already received theirs, but I opted to pay via money order (which I am regretting a bit now, as I missed out on Sengoku 2, RB: FFS2 and one or two others). I received:
Top Hunter: U.S. Old ClamShell
Thrash Rally: Old ClamShell (Invoice says U.S. but it is not the standard gray template, Japanese or not?)
Sengoku: Japanese Old ClamShell
Samurai ShoDown: U.S. Old ClamShell
Raguy: Japanese CardBoard Box
NAM-1975: Japanese Old ClamShell
King Of The Monsters: Japanese CardBoard Box
Cyber-Lip: Japanese Old ClamShell
Crossed Swords: Old ClamShell (Again, invoice says U.S., but box is not standard gray template)
I really wish NCS had been able to supply my entire order, but perhaps they will dig up some more home carts in the future. Their letter suggests they are attempting this.
While some might see it as a waste to buy home carts at all when I have a four-slot MVS, I must say the portable aspect is definitely one plus, as I can take it to the homes of others (and it will be easier to haul to my local game store when we do RetroGame Day). Also, it will be nice to be able to play Samurai ShoDown whilst lying in bed. Once we get these MVS cart cases going, who knows, perhaps I will sell them all off.
Oops, just realised that the invoice says Sengoku is a U.S. cart as well.
Anyway, I must wrap this up, I am eager to introduce my wife to Top Hunter (a game I have not played in years). Plenty to keep me busy for now. GAME ON!
