I was just browsing eBay and came across this machine, the Neo-0.

Are there any difference between this and the other (normal) Neo system??

Chairman Kaga: Yup...they were the ones that dumped KoF2K...as far as I remember.
Very 1337 :D

So, ray_7...got any link or further information about this system?

Are you talking about this auction:
<a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1341647990&r=0&t=0&showTutorial=0&ed=1017591370&indexURL=0&rd=1" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1341647990&r=0&t=0&showTutorial=0&ed=1017591370&indexURL=0&rd=1</a>

I don't know what this is.

Very strange, indeed...
I know the silver, the gold and the white "core system" boxes but a white/black/gr33n Neo-0 box?
There are three options
1) fake, NGF or whatever
2) a truly rare collectors item
3) it's nothing special but nobody has ever heard of it

:)

I have no idea what that is. I have never seen a NEO·GEO in that kind of box. I am going to try and win it because I still need a NEO·GEO. :D

I have that box for my 1st US Neo - Serial No 001088... On the side where the UPS code is, it has some jpn characters and says 'Made In Japan'.

Almost looks like a box for a refurbished system. <img src="graemlins/spock.gif" border="0" alt="[Spock]" />

Peeps, if you happen to own an AES, turn it around and look on the serial label.

i will tak some tommorow, when it is not all that late and i feel like doing it, its kinda hard to tak a pic of the serail number though b/c the type is to small, and if i use a flash the light gets in the way. Hmm maybe i will try to scan the systems bottom to see if i can get the Neo-0 serial number to show up.

It says Model: Neo-O on the bottom of my Jap AES also. Its a middle number, 140081. Besides being minty, i dont see anything extra special about the unit. <img src="graemlins/spock.gif" border="0" alt="[Spock]" />

Part of KOF2K, and the MOTW beta dump ;)
They're at neo-0.roarvgm.com right now (hosted by yours truly).

It looks to me like a normal neo geo machine with a custom mmade box as the blue instruction sheet is the same as the regular one. instead of posting the question here why not just email the seller and ask him the question.

Was there not a rental system at one point? That would be likley to have simpler packaging.

Neo-0, the dipshit emu crew, a disgrace to the Neo scene, dumb fucks. Some guy here is hosting their site? Guilty by association.

Really!! I just got this about a week ago from neogeo2k2. Why did you get rid of it? And how much did you buy/ sell it for? Did you do the mods?
