i'm up for any neo game released, believe that much.
But honestly, at the moment, i am smelling crap in the air, the shots, promos whatever are not giving us great hope for a cool new game, as much as i want it to be.
I hope for everyone that it is great, but honestly, what about it (considering what has been "leaked" so far) is giving any excitement??
PS NeoGML , throw away intenet comment or not, that " i hope you die" thing is really sad, i think your dad should slap your ass man style for childish comments like that, try to entertain a valid discussion instead of wanking yourself up, but i guess you dig the whole neogeo.com style of being more of a prick than anyone else could be.

OMFG, you, and 70% of the wank boys have the whole thing wrong.
I was mearly asking for those that had a negative view on what is coming for this game, and i really do have neagtive views on it, from what i have seen.
Just because you think it's looking great, doesn't mean you need to big your ego up.

OK, to be honest, I'm a bit worried that this whole 'anger gauge- spirit gauge- enlightenment gauge' system will be adding something to a game that doesn't need anything else added to it.
But without actually playing it firsthand there's no way of knowing.
From a SS1/2 standpoint the 'bust/slash' system, the grab-your-opponent or spin-behind-your-opponent, and the hopping attack system were also adding something to a game that didn't need anything added to it, yet they worked out, and people appreciated the additions.
So we're just going to have to wait and see.
If it sucks, it sucks, and I'll be the first to admit it.

This forum has a serious problem with people voiceing their views.....you just get lynched.
For sure, we must wait and se, but at the moment, things dont look too great, FOR ME at least.
It's not about that. If you read your first post, it's clearly a sarcastic little attack on a game you haven't played. It's just incomprehensible to me that you think you would be able to find negative points via skewed, unofficial, BETA TEST screenshots, and some word of mouth.

But the things you mentioned are all you can value the game on too....so far.
So i could do without your "i wish you dead blah blah " statements too.
Owning other titles previous to this, i wish this not to be a wate of time, but TO ME it lloks like it : please discuss.

If this weren't pretty much a rehash of every "Rah Rah/It Sucks" debate that has beset every release since late 2000, it might approach being interesting.
I see a lot of new sprites, with a number of older SS4 characters being completely redrawn. The Fire/Water brothers spring to mind.
Anyway, keep it civil. I think we're all tired of reading personal attack crap.

Seriously, though, it looks like it'll be pretty good. Hell, they're gonna have Bust Sogetsu and Bust Kazuki as distinct characters (which might mean they'll be like their SS64II incarnations buttrock ).

I would rather see sprites from ss4, than have Playmore turn SS0 over to Noise Factory so they could use the ROTD/Matrimelee engine and sprite design....
And the old SS sprites look great. They were only used in 1 or 2 games. So it's not like they are KOF sprites. The fact that they brought back the SS3 and 4 design makes me MORE interested in the game.

You got it wrong "base", the negative view comes from not understanding the game to its fullist, we only know certain bits about it, so we have a huge chunk in our brain that needs filling to make us understand.

Looks good from what I've seen, I hope it plays like a fast SS4, the only thing i didn't like about it was it was too damn slow for competition, this may make up for that

I like the characters espcially the guy w/ the 5 swords, but I was hoping for new sprites of the characters we all know and love. I wanted to see a new Haomaru sprite and maybe a slight change to his costume and possibly hair. Since this is taking place before SS1 from what I know of, I just wish the characters looked younger and have had some sort of costume change. The backrounds so far don't look like anything too great. It all looks like SSIV with new characters. I hope the final product doesn't end up like a SSIV remix.
