Would you consider Kizuna Encounter the rarest NG title ever?

Seriously.

After reading the forum for a long time, I've read that the NGH of KE (USA and Euro) are so rare, that some don't even believe they exist. (Not sure about the Japanese one).

Also, I can't find the OST ANYWAY. 16bit had one, but it was sold, and I can't find it anyway else. Was an AST released for Kizuna Encounter?

Now for the trival stuff: Hentai doujins of KE are out there, but I've never seem them, not even the covers. I'm pretty sure a manga series was released in HK when it came out (I own several SS64 mangas myself), but I've never seen them either.

And yes...even the rom itself is hard to find (well a perfect working NRX one anyway)!

So...could Kizuna Encounter Fu'un Super Tag Battle be the rarest NG title ever?

Damn good game to play too, one of SNK's best ever.

No, It's not that rare. There's a ton on MVS's of the thing out there. In fact I have one in my collection that hasn't been played in months.

It may be RARE on homecart, but you gotta think of this. If you have it.. don't you want the value to go up? There ARE people who have it that aren't talking. They worry about devaluing it. The Jap ones are on ebay every now and again.

Ah yes, that is one exception, the MVS Carts. My arcade, just put it back in one of the MVS machines it has. Tons o' fun...and only for one token!

I don't know which is rarer: a Euro/U.S. Kizuna or Ultimate 11.

I know someone who said they had euro Kizuna dunno if i belive them though (though i dunno why he would make up shit), i don't think i'd belive anyone with out seeing it with my own eyes.

I'd actually like to score a bare MVS Kizuana for a decent price if anyone has any leads....

PS, if you just wanted Kizuana for playing on your home cart then I'd suggest just getting a conversion done, the game is good but NOT worth the $2G's+ it fetches.

1) Sadly, no (although I betcha there would've been one had it been released on NGCD).

2) EvilWasabi managed to get ahold of a KE hentai doujin. Write him a nice e-mail, and he'll share his pictures with you. I know there was a yaoi one on eBay once, but that's another story.
I know that KE had a couple manga appearances (a couple 4-koma strips in the VG Grand Prix manga [vol. 9, I think], and an illustration in the SNK Boys Manga anthology), but that's it. I myself would be very interested if anyone ever got their hands on a manga anthology (or even a non-hentai doujin).
I doubt there was ever a KE HK comic series, but if they did ones for SS64 and Metal Slug, who knows?

Yes, Kizuna Encounter is very rare. Hell, almost none of the characters show up in any fanfics (except for mine *shameless plug*), which just goes to show you how rare and obscure KE really is.

I have never seen an US/EURO Kizuna that
wasn't a conversion...

I have the Japanese version of Kizuna Encounter,
but I didn't have to look for it, Jonathan aka
NeoBomberman found a MINT condition one, and sent
it over for my b-day....

One of the better fighting games
on the neo.

Btw, if you guys look in the collections page
there's at least 4 Kizunas and most of them are
US/Euro conversions.

I don't believe in the euro version of the Kizuna Encounter home cart. I figure it was probably just a limited edition conversion by Maro or something.

It didn't have a Neo CD release, and it didn't get ported to any other systems. If for some reason one of the few non-Neo CD games got a Euro release, then why didn't Blazing Star, eh?
