Hello everyone,

Please avoid transactions with member "Orphen". He purchased a Superdadgeball kit from me on ebay and then claimed it was bootleg and didn't work. Many of you probably remember his claims and the fact that he never would provide pictures or anything else supporting his claims about our trnsaction. 4 Months have now passed as he tried to file a chargeback through paypal and they declined his request to do so. Then he filed with his credit card company to chargeback. He successfully charged back against me a month ago and is keeping the Superdodgeball kit and my money. I am in the process of taking legal action but please beware of this member.

I'm really sorry to hear of your problem. I have had a similar problem in the past where a buyer charged back with paypal and refused to send the item back. The only thing worse than a bad seller is a bad buyer.

I offered anyone a refund that was unhappy with any item neo geo or not. The only two people who ever had a complaint was tip and orphen. I refunded TIP and orphen received a refund and kept the kit which is 100% legit I still have the receipt for the item. Do business with him if you think he's honest. There's not a member here I've had a sour transaction with other than orphen.

That was about the bang bead he thought was a bootleg, not about selling bootlegs and not refunding monies... The person who purchased that Bang Bead kit is very happy with it.

Too Short and Goose, If you ever had a single transaction with me you comments would mean something, but you haven't ever dealt with me so your comments mean absolutely nothing.

Just a word of caution to those who may run into orphen on the buying or selling forums.

Have a good day.

Orphen did not receive any refund, he had to work out a charge back by himself. shame

BTW: I have dealt with Orphen and he delivered the merchandise that he promised in great shape. He has a good feedback here

Orphen did not receive a refund because the merchandise he received was 100% original. Yeah you're right, when you receive your money back through a chargeback, it's legal to keep the merchandise you purchased with that money. We'll see what the police have to say to him this week.

Yeah pep, What a good buyer, get a refund and keep merchandise you don't own.

Black spy, spamming about two members you've never dealt with either.

FTL thought was a bootleg? spock
No, it was a bootleg. Just like the rest of the NGF garbage you were pawning off on ebay.
The person that bought that Bang Bead hasn't complained because he probably doesn't know any better.
Oh and the thread about you before may not have started off about you selling boots and refunding money, but that is how it ended up. It wasn't until Tip came in and posted pics of your boot Breakers that you finally offered him a refund and you deleted all your threats from the original thread.

Basically, there is no way to tell if a MVS Cart is a boot until you buy it? It seems harder to get an original MVS than an original Home Cart nowadays. That's why I haven't been in to much of a rush to buy my Supergun. My poor 2 Slot just sits there unused. The Neo Hobby has worst odds then hitting the jackpot in Vegas!

You're right, droid. I have only dealt with Shiftyfink (Gamesbyruss) he let's you know if the game is legit or not. He also has fair prices. I guess I will have to stick with him and a few others like Robert Wallace, The Worm2 and so on. It's just a shame that people make a living off of stealing from others.

Your best bet when buying MVS carts is to simply NOT buy them from eBay. Buy them from a trusted member here who is willing to stand behind what they sell and is willing to open the cart to examine for tell-tell signs of bootlegged-ness.

If you buy from eBay, you might as well be buying from Japhei, as its Russian Roulette anyway you look at it. At least with Japhei, ya know its probably a boot.

I agree with broken. Just don't use Ebay or anybody you haven't talked to via e-mail or something like that.

This is a perfect example of why PAYPAL does not have money back guarantee on video games.
