i haven't checked yet, but golfland in sunnyvale will probably be getting it. if they don't have it already they will be getting it soon. They always have the latest KOF, and alot of people werre playing cvs2 there, so it only makes sense that they get this. im gonna call them right now and ask. some arcades in berkeley are usually up to date on their neo games, haven't been their to check either, but its worth a look. I know for a fact that golfland in castro valley does not have it though. where are you from in the bay?

While this is for SoCal people:

I'd try the arcade in Los Angeles' Little Tokyo Mall. They always have the latest KOF, and I can't see them no having this game.

I may drop by this weekend to confirm.

I'll be there tomarrow. But I don't know if they'd have it, it is close to 2000 and this is a small arcade. It's prices like these that probably pushed the last arcade in the little tokyo mall out of buisness

You wanna meet up? I live a few blocks away from it (on weekends, anyway).

just search on google, I'm sure you'll find it. I've found the addresses to others that way. I think it was on shoryuken.com that they had them.

got back from sunnyvale last night. svc is full opperational. I encourage any of you in the area to stop by and play it. Its been a while since I've been to golfland, it seems like they are doing pretty good, they have a shit load of new dynamo cabinets (thats what they have svc in). For those of you who are curious it was 50 cents to play. on the whole, they had four neo geos, svc chaos, a one slot with KoF 02, a one slot with Slug 4, and a six slot with garou, kof 96, super dodgeball, neo bomberman, slug 3, and puzzle bobble.

SVC was fun, but wasn't without flaws. people were litterally laughing out loud when sagat showed up. his standing light kick is hillarious, his leg grows to be almost twice as long as its orriginal length. The game has supers that can cancel into super (kinda like c groove in cvs2). They were pretty cool, but pair them up with the dash cancel from a blocking position, and its going to be really easy to punish pokes and footsies with 3/4 life bar destroying combos. I predict that this game will play like a monster once people start learning the ins and outs of it. Which means you guys need to start practicing your combos, i know i will :)

we found out there is no copy of choas in the little tokyo mall. Though there is one across from los angeles city collage. It's at the arcade called collage arcade. It costs 3 tokens to play, but today they were giving out 8 tokens per dollar! so no, It's not a rip-off. Also there was a guy and his guy/girl? playing. They were taking the game too seriously by just diving in with all the combos. They got up to orachi iori and lost. Then just stopped. I tried playing and told them I just wanted to battle the computer but they put in the tokens anyway. The guy/girl was very non-descript and had long medium length hair. I don't know if it was to gay asian guys or a guy and his girl (because the person looked kind of ugly for a girl, or normal for a guy) and they seemed very close. It's still a mystery to this moment...

Met up with Bobak and Zorro today.

Unfortunately,we did not find SvC at the Yaohan Plaza Arcade.

We did find it at the College Arcade on Vermont, though.

I thought SvC was pretty cool, but nothing spectacular. Then again,I could be wrong, thanks to the boy/girl(?) dynamic duo,who absolutely WOULD NOT let us play in 1 P mode against the CPU.

yeah even though they played the computer. I told the people I wanted to face the computer before I put in my tokens so they held off for like 5 seconds and then put them in anyway. Where are people's manners these days?

where are people manners? trying to hog the new game machine all to themselves. c'mon these machines are made for fighting. people should fight on them, plus, i'm sure the manager doesn't like people playng single player when theres a line to play.
