Hey,

This might sound stupid but I never had a mvs machine. Got a quetion here: can you buy a MV1-FZ : 1 slot system board and do plug it on the tv? And whith what kindoff plugs? They got one for sale at supersellers...And why are the MVS prices cheaper then the AES? there both cardridges right....

Thanks,

Cho

Chohan,

MVS titles are cheaper because they are produced in large quantities (i.e. most games are not released in limited runs). You'll need a Supergun to play Neo MVS games on your
television. This unit comes with a Jamma harness (which connects to the board) and a
standard PC tower PSU. You can order a Supergun by visiting one of the following game dealers:

www.gwtrading.com
MASsystems.com

Mas makes better equipment (overall) but their reaction time to customer queries is slower than an old lady!

I hope this answers your questions!

You're welcome my Neo friend!

You can probably find a used 1-slot upright unit for under $600. Visit Ebay for auctions containing upright MVS systems. I've seen those sit down MVS units from Japan (4-slot systems) selling for $900.00! Go get 'em, Chohan!

I own a cart system (2 of them; one curtesy of Yuckydog!), MVS/Supergun system, Neo CDZ, and NGPC (2 of them!).

Their service is fine (prices are good too), but they include copied marquees with their games. I received copied marquees for Cyber Lip and 3 Count Bout from them some time ago, but otherwise, they are reputable.

I can vouch for mdgamesales... there stuff is always in good shape. First thing you are going to have to get used to, MVS carts are ugly, serials are usually scraped off and the carts look like they have been in wars, usually... but they are tough as nails and will play fine. I have gotten several carts from mdgamesales that are in almost new condition. My Garou from them looked like it had never been played, and my Last Blade 2 was completly new... I have bought about 10 - 15 carts from them and have always been satisfied. MDGameSales deals in a lot of Japanese carts, thats one reason why they have the copied marquees. If you ask them for an original Japanese Marquee or English one, half the time they will find one for you (they are truly nice people to deal with as well). The prices there are good, but you will always find better deals on ebay for carts, hands down. Hope that helps,
