arcade-infinity shipping quote totally wrong!

Hi, I just thought people might need to be warned that the shipping quote that arcade-infinity gave me was a joke. They told me that it would be 185$ to ship to my home. I knew this was a quote and budgeted in 50$ more just in case.

It came with a bill of 390$!! I didn't really know what to do so I paid it, but I really couldn't afford this extra 205$ right now!

Just thought that I would leave this as a warning to the people here. If you're going to do buisines with arcade-infinity don't rely on thier shipping quote!

now I gotta figure out how the fuck I'm gonna pay bills this month!!

They quoted mine with in about $7.00 of the actual cost.

Although probably the smart thing to do would be to call around and get many quotes and then compare them and see where you are.

I relied on Jeffs quote also , I guess it pays to do your homework ?

yeah, I'm not trying to get on anyone's case about it. I'm sure it was a simple accident. I am starting to suspect I was quoted the buisiness rate or something. Anyway, I'm not blaming anyone, just warning people to do thier homework!

The machine is being actually delivered tomarrow, and based on the condition of my candy cab I'll deciede if I'm going to deal with them again. Dealing with shipping shouldn't be totally thier responsibility, and I've gotta share the blame for this mistake.

where do you live because i want to get a cab from there and i live up in Canada... i may have to rethink my plan if the shipping will be that much

I live in State College, PA. It's right in the middle of Pennsylvania. It was 390.30$ to my house. I just recieved it, and it looks good so far. I'll have a better report once I get a board in it.

Sounds more like they messed up on the shipping...I don't think it should be that much.
Go call arcade-infinity about the price, maybe they forgot to use there discount. Or maybe it's because it was delivered to your house on a truck with a liftgate.
