Besides ROTD and KOF 2002, are there any other confirmed releases known for the Neo? :D

I've heard MOTW2 is after Rage of the dragons.
Kof2002 probably won't be released till 2003.

MotW2 is just a rumor...nothing confirmed...the same applies for SS5 and LB3.

KoF2K2 will be released in October for MVS and in December for AES.
SNK vs. Capcom follows in 2003 and a new Power Instinct Game by Atlus will come to MVS soon.

I really belive any hope of MOTW2 SS5 and LB3 died with SNK.

As much as I would like to see SS5,LB3,or MOTW2 I would have to say that it is pretty much a pipe dream to think those will come out.

these new guys cant create 3 new sprites for a new kof game

and you want em to work on a sequel to motw?

plus,neo carts arent big enough

to make motw2 you need a bigger cart or something magical like...erm...dunno

Back in January when I got my Neo Cab the guy offered me a Power Instinct cab for 200. I kinda wish I had gotten it would be interested at this point in time.

I figure if they can make new KOF's and RotD, then games like SS5 or LB3 are possible...Heh, or maybe thats just me wishing in denial :rolleyes:

What i've always wondered about SNK, is that if they released Alpha Mission 2 (as a sequel to an unpopular NES game) why OH WHY did they never put out the classic Iron Tank on NEO GEO??? I know MS could be derived from Iron Tank but still. And no Ikari Warriors? What about POW? I actually called SNK of America like 10 years ago and asked them about these games. They said no plans. Of course.

They have made an sequel to alpha mission, alpha mission 2 (ASO 2) was one of the first neo games. And the worst shooter on the format if you ask me.
Next up is New power instinct and SNK vs Capcom, no other games have been comfired.

The new guys as fran mentioned can make three new sprites. They have also delivered the best animation ever in a KOF game, check Kim and Yashiro for proof.

yashiro and kim in 2002 are the SAME OLD sprites

they just changed their stances

and kim new stance is just stupid and ugly

so many frames for his stance...wow...impressive <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" />

the movement is innatural and just doesnt feel right

1 stance with 15 or 20 frames of animations,
while all the others have like 8 or 10 frames?

bah

redraw a few sprites,damn it

who cares about a stupid "motw like" stance,thats what i say

Well, to answer the first question (which people kind of already have done).

The only definate confirmations are New Power instict from Noise Factory, and SNK vs Capcom, from, ummmmm, I forget if it was Playmore, Brezza or Eolith actually.

And also, Evoga did drop a hint that, due to ROTD being fairly successfull, they may well make a sequal. (see the interview with them - link is on neo-geo.com's main page).

Oh yea - and what the heck is/was Giga Crusaders? (Noise Factory).
It keeps getting mentioned now and again, seems to be a Sengoku-type game but details are a bit scant on Noise Factory's webpage.

Anyone??
