Is it worth it to get a Phantom-1 even with all it’s problems?

Well I have a good amount of MVS games right now and I’m itching to play them. Here are my options: wait until school is out and I start working then I can buy myself an MVS cab. Or I could try to trade right now and get myself a Phantom-1. My only concern is that it won’t work and I’ll be out a shit load of cash (or games), which really worries me. Is there any sure fire way that I can know if it will work for me or is it all just fate? HELP!

Best way to know...

If you can remove a regular home cart from your system with one hand, it won't work.

If you have to hold your system down with one hand, and really PULL the cart out with the other, it's probably tight enough.

You can always tighten the slots to make the converter work.. Believe me you don't have to be "handy" to do the fix!
