Some Neat MVS Kit Flyers Scans are up

Has anyone gotten these before? I bought a Metal Slug kit off of eBay and it was NOS. It came with two slips of paper one that says

"Installation of the Neo-Geo Flexible Marquee"
it lists instructions to install the large marquee.

Then the other is a sheet that says

WARNING!
Do no install this cartridge without doing the following.*

Lists 3 steps

*(This helps insure maximum earnings)

I'm thinking about scanning these so that you all can see them. I think they're neat, anyone else seen these before?

One more thing, will the large marquee ever flatten out or will it always roll up, until you put it between some hard plexi.

Yep I'll be looking around for a scanner tomorrow. Moving to college reduced my supplies no scanner or digital camera. Oh well, I'm sure someone in my hall has one.

They aren't anything special but I think they're cool even if they're simple black print on slips of paper that look like they were cut by hand :p

Anyone know which office (310)-371-7100 would get you? Says call SNK Service dept. between 7-5 PDT Mon thru Friday if you have problems installing your marquee.

Just a bump looking for anyone else who has seen something like these, scans should be up in half an hour.

Hmm...I own about a dozen MVS kits (some purchased new) and I have never seen this flyer that you're describing. I look forward to the scans...

Well it appears Geocities refuses not to be gay.

I would have to guess no as the first one is very generic, and the second one has the line where the title is put in, I'm suppose these aren't included anymore because well...who could charge 50 cents for even a new Neo-Geo game and get away with it :p

I would offer some higher quality stuff unfortunately I was kinda being a bother to the guy that scanned them for me. Just a note is that the top one, that double bar border goes all the way around it just got cropped off.

I have around 50 complete kits, and these are new to me too. I wish I knew more about how the large marquees were distributed.

Yes, many kits come with those papers; however, most people throw them away and were basically used for the arcade market. They are pretty cool and the papers only help the value of the kit. Good job on finding such a "full" kit. It's very hard to find a Metal Slug 1 kit with large marquee.

I also asked him if he knew how large marquees were distributed, if anyone knows its him.
