ask for some sort of reparations.

Perhaps Shawn could reach an agreement with you on what would be your best option.

Have you tried contacting the Neo Store? Or did you just post here before contacting the proper folks?

Hello Fadl,

It’s regrettable that your copy of English Metal Slug 3 has a crease on its insert. Like you, I would also prefer my personal copy to be of absolute perfect condition. Unfortunately, the NeoStore is completely sold out of this item and there were never any extra inserts or manuals. I can of course offer you a full refund to your PayPal account for the cost of the item or $255 store credit.

Should you choose to return the item please send to the address provided on the invoice (top left corner), this address is also found on the return address of the shipping label and on the contact page of the NeoStore:
<a href="http://www.neostore.com/CONTACT/contact.html" target="_blank">http://www.neostore.com/CONTACT/contact.html</a>
Also, please include a copy of the invoice along with the US MS3.

I understand. Frankly, I am not surprised with the recent string of good luck I have been having in attaining games I want... :) A little frustrated yes and have vented in the War Room.

Thank you shawn for the quick reply and resolve. I appreciate that.

I guess I kind of understand your frustration, but, the damage is so slight, I wouldn't even bother to contact Shawn. What I would have done is take the insert out of the case and put it in between a book and stacked something heavy on top. You leave it like that for about a week or so..by that time, the insert should be perfectly flat. This may be the only thing you can do, especially since the game is now sold out.

Ironing it should work very well too, just put a thin cloth between the insert and the iron.

Brand-new NeoGeo release are quite often flawed by that (or other) kind of minor 'factory flwas'. It's clear Neo AES carts are manually assembled, thus it's nothing surprising. I've got myself more than one brand new cart with flaws in the insert, the cart, or the case...

Hopefully rhiohki will return the US MS3 for a full refund. Although I haven’t heard his decision yet, I highly doubt he will take up my offer. Time to offer buy backs on the trade-in page…

I bought my copy of ROTD new at an electronics store over here. I actually ordered it through them, so my copy was behind the counter.

After I got home I noticed there was a crease in the plastic as well, like it got caught on something and snagged. Not big or anything, but big enough so that it didn't seem 'perfect'.

Creases, bends, and dints, are just something that happens I guess, we can't really do anything about it.

rhiohki, if I were you, I'd just keep the cart and enjoy it for the great game it is.

So if I remember well, Bahamut has bought a fake NGH MS1 for big bucks and now his 1000$ neo store order is lost. Man, this guy must have made something bad to the neo gods for such a punishement.
