I was at a local arcade today, looking for some NeoGeo games to play, so I search the whole arcade and I found 5 games (RB2,MS, MS2, Blazing Star and MS4) And on my way out I saw this strange machine that looked like a strip poker game covered by a little curtain. I go inside and look into the screen, only to see myself staring back at me, with an SD Athena at my side.... After I was done shitting myself I examined the situation. The machine was called NeoPrint, it's a photo taking machine that takes your photos with your choice of surroundings.

Has anyone else seen this before?

Yes I have. At New York, New York in Las Vegas (ironically, there wasn't a single MVS cab there).

Neoprint was kind of good and kind of bad for SNK. I can thank it for helping shut down the Los Angeles division. It helped move the company on, but at what price.

The Neo-Print uses cartirdges which RESEMBLE the MVS cartridges, but are not compatible.

Apple Photo in New York is now representing the Neo Print in the USA.

I saw pictures of a NeoPrint motherboard a while back. Is it actually a modified type of MVS, or is it its own board entirely?

Completely different board design with different custom chips.
