That looks like an official cab, not some convert. Pretty weird looking, not bad though except for the button placements.

Im not sure, there was a guy on this forum with the same cab, he had monitor probs with it, anyway he sent me some pics. Ive since lost those images and cant recall the members name. Going through the threads in order to locate it.

Either its the same cab or there are more than one and it may be official.

Whats your opinion Briggs ???

I'm sure it is official. My guess is that SNK licensed other manufacturers to build the cabs in other countries so they would not have to ship them.

I like the design, except for the button layout. Too bad I was not into Neo very much when I was going all over Europe with the U.S.C.C., or I could have made a photo log of the various cabinets to add to the library.

Agreed. That button layout looks like it would be painful in "marathon" play...

My US $ conversion rate is a fixed $1.60=£1 for US Dollar payments and is NOT-NEGOTIABLE.

WTF doesnt he have to go with Ebay's conversion and not his own anway thats overpriced, conversion for £1 to US is $1.55, blah

It 's not the normal layout.

The normal Neo layout let's you easily lay 4 fingers (or 3 and a thumb) on ALL the buttons. I don't think you can do that comfortably on this model.

It's about the fifth green one I have seen on Ebay. They all seem to be 4 slots.
Here is another one currently on sale:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=715397795&rd=1

It's too dear for me. I've seen them go for approx 145 GBP in the past.
p.s. The Buy It Now was 250 GBP.

That button layout will not be a problem with games that uses three or less buttons. But try playing KOF with it....

Sucks ass, just like the capcom six button cabs with mvs boards in them.

well, it looks like it's the official cabaret european version. I don't think it'd be that bad to play on since that's what my dynamo conversion is set up like. I didn't want to drill out new holes because I knew I would be getting a candy soon anyway.

I think I'd bid on it if I were in the UK. It looks like a good system for the home, and it's definitly a conversation peice.

I read the description and he said he has something like 7500 sq feet of games in the UK. So, I don't wanna hear any more bitching about not being able to find cabs in the UK, okay?

I've got a custom converted Midway Cab with Slug 3 in it and the button layout is excatly the same as the one pictured here.

To be frank I did try KoF 98 in the unit to see how it would handle and to be honest it was very annoying to play with the A button literally one level below from where is should be.

If you get that cab I would suggest restoring the original SNK button layout seeing as you'll save your fingers a bit of pain in the future because of it.
