I was just thinkg about this: SNK is a great company and all, but there descisions on porting games is terrible. I mean whoopdy do da, the port the KOF series, but compared to MOTW and other fighters, they're not that awesome. Then with thier other great games such as Metal SLug, Sengoku, and many others they go, "HMMMMM, we won't port that, cuz it'll be too fun".

What the deal, they decide to port Metal SLug X to PS1 (a system which can't handle anything). The game had sooo much missing animation, bad sounds, load times, and worse of all WHITE BLOOD!!!

The Metal Slugs could have been on DC, but SNK keeps porting fighters. E

Who knows what they are thinking. That's what I think too, well sometimes anyways. If they put out the Metal Slug series out on dc and ps2, it would be great. Stupid mainstream gamers can atleast have an extra shooters to play. It's nice looking and it's just damn wack out. Sometime I think the mainsteamers, if that's even a word, should play more old school games.

shitty business sense thats what the deal is.

The words "multi console" is what playmore employees should be thinking. But it ain't. I think they are thinking about......chocolate.....

I was just thinkg about this: Mattel is a great company and all, but their descisions on porting games is terrible. I mean whoopady do da, the ports of 30 mediocre games to DOS and PSX, but compared to Thunder Castle and other games, they're not that awesome. Then with their other great games such as Shark! Shark!, AD+D, and many others they go, "HMMMMM, we won't port that, cuz it'll be too fun".

"What the deal!"

dude i love Metal Slug X PSX port. What about all the mini games you get they fucking rule and there is only white blood in the US version. Also it looks and plays amazing for a 2D PSX game. What i never understood was how come playstation games can handle good 3D like Resi Evil etc pretty easily yet 2D games apparantly don't play very well???

and anyway the dreamcast has the awesome port of MOTW, i'ld love to see some type of metal slug collection for the dreamcast.

The problem with Playmore (or most game companies) is that they're not gamers themselves... and when I say that I mean "Diehard" gamers. Thus just as most companies scoff at releasing anything 2-D these days because the mainstreamers can't think past 3-D, Playmore/SNK sticks to what they know, and that is fighting games. I mean God forbid they port over the Metal Slug series, and while I know that a bunch of us would support the slug series or even the Shock Troopers games (Sengoku etc etc.) the truth is most people today have shorter attention spans than even the Nintendo Generation or X, thus I don't believe many ppl would be camping outside their local EB, Toys R Us (or even bugging their online import stores) to get their hands on anything non fighting related. Porting over fighting games is a sure thing (much to my dismay) and that's what Playmore is going to stick to. So while it be great to port the other neglected genres, and especially on the Dreamcast (since they're still supporting it obviously) I for one will not hold my breath :(
