I've lived in Milwaukee my whole life and i've NEVER seen a N-G CD or Cart for sale in any gaming store, resale game store, retail store, ect. Is NEO more common to different parts of the country? I only get them over the net.

It's normal. I live in a very big city (top 15 in the nation) and there is only one shop here that sell's home carts.

Unless you live in Cali, or NYC, or somewhere with a heavy china town/import scene, your not gonna see anything neogeo, cause theres no market for it except for on the net (the store here has had some of the same neo carts for like 3 years and not sold them).

Oh yeah? I live in Carrollton, which is only close to Louisville. The closest neo that I know about is in Cincinnatti.

Hey, I live in Oklahoma and I've never seen any Neo or Neo related merchandise at any store. I've only seen one at a friends house when I was 9 or ten years old *spoiled little fucker*.

There used to be an online store called Kaminari in Wisconsin selling some NGCD but they're out of business. IN Midwest, the only places selling NG stuff will be Raven Video Games in St Pual, MN or Cart Mart in Des Moine, IA.

Keep in mind that when it goes through regular retail channel, it can get very expensive (you add the cost of operating the store), if you ask certain independent game stores, some can get the new NG games for you with special order as no one wants to get stuck with those games, they're very expensive to get in the first place. I just got back from Canada, in Toronto, one game store (no web site) in predominantly Asian community had a few preordered and they're all sold out, they're asking $500 CDN for the game (thanks to the faultering Canadian currency).

In the end, it leaves to online game store or retail store with heavy online presence like NCS, Japan Video Games, or JnL (some game prices are astronomical, just go to the store in NY's Chinatown and find out)

I'm pretty lucky cause theres a phat import store 20 min from my house that has everything thats out in japan . You can pick up games the day after they come out in Japan there . It even gets Neo cd and AES carts .

If you live in the Bay Area CA and don't know about it let me know and I'll tell you where it is .

I remeber making my rounds a couple of years back (4)trying to locate Neo Geo in PA/DE and I the response I received was "Neo Geo? What's that? Never heard of it." Our China Town is a joke

I live in metro Detroit MI, and i've only seen 2 places to ever sell a neo-geo. the very first time i ever laid eyes on one was at comp usa back in the early 90's. coincidentally that was also the first time my dad told me i couldnt have one
a local rental store "VDO" rented, and sold them once apon a time also.

Well, as you had said, there is no place here in Milwaukee that currently has any NEO GEO products...Sifl did however get his NEO here, but it was at an independent game store in Cudahy I believe he told me, but it is no longer there!

I live in the south side of Milwaukee, by General Mitchell International Airport. If you want to hook up, send me some e-mail and let me know!

When my family still lived in Lansing, MI there was a place by the name of Video Game Underground and that was the first time I had ever seen a neo geo...hell that was so long ago. They had lots of import stuff but too bad at the time I didn't even know what the hell import meant...

I'm the same way, been into games since i was 6 and got my first 2600 in '82. When you're a kid, you want alot but dont get it all. Now i'm a 28 yr old Union Carpenter, and I can pretty much afford anything(gaming wise). I have a rather nice collection of games and system(most of which have the original boxes). Allow me to do a very little bragging...1. 5200(no box) 2. 7800(boxed) 3. Coleco(A/Vouts boxed) 4. INTV II(no box) 5. Jaguar(boxed) 6.Top-Load NES(A/V outs no box..yet) 7. 2nd gen SNES(boxed) 8. N64(boxed) 9. Turbo Duo(boxed) 10. Sega Saturn(boxed) 11. Sega Dreamcast(boxed) 12. Sega CDX(no box) 13. Neo-Geo Front Loader(Boxed) 14.PS2(boxed) 15 Neo-Geo AES(all mods boxed). Games...we dont ahve that kind of time...LOL!!
I'm remodeling the upstairs of my house, when its done maybe you want to swing by and check it out all up and running at the same time.

Sure thing! I'd love to check out your gaming set-up sometime. Feel free to send me an e-mail(I have it listed here) anytime and we can arrange something!
