The MS3 Twist-The-Knife-O-Rama Thread!

Ok fellas. The hype is here. We all know by now MS3 is sold out at the NeoStore. Perhaps other vendors have it elsewhere...

But guys, aren't you really fuckin glad you got your MS3 when you had the chance?

This isn't meant to be a "who's dick is bigger, longer" thread. What did you guys pay for MS3? Be honest; I'm curious to what the lowest price was. I paid $180 for my copy this past spring. A decent price. I'm sure many of you got luckier.

Will MS3 follow MS1,2,X's lead in inflation? Do any of you lil' MS3 owning devils kinda hope it does?

This cat TOTALLY OD'd on MS3.

I bought the first Japanese release when it was new. Then, when NCS solicited that they were getting the second run copies in, I ordered another just because I wanted to be supportive. I figured I could simply sell it later for either a minimal loss or modest gain anyway, so no big deal.

Well, soon after NCS had their order page up (and I had commited to ordering) N-G.com posted that an English version was coming. Oye. Of course, I had to get an English version. It was one of my all time favorite Neo games, and th eones I really like I like to get in English. Ok, so now I order that one too.

I didn't want to be a schmuck and bail on NCS, so I bought that one too. Ok, now I have 3 copies. But wait. I truly love playing my Neo games first and foremost on my 4 slot cab. Hmm...I need an MVS copy. Ok, so I have that too.

About a year later, I ended up selling my second run Jp MS3 to a board memeber (don't remember who). Insanely enough, I still have all three versions.

First Run Jp MS3
English MS3
MVS MS3 Full Kit.

I think the value should shoot up to $1000+...


Ok, on a serious note, I think the value should go up as all the remaining "new stock" is gone and MS3 is clearly the most visually impressive title on the neo. The bottom line is that a title is not going to go up in value above the listed retail price until the retail stock is gone. Now that it is, only time will tell.

Iam glad I bought mine 1 week ago before the sell out. Iam a last minute buyer and that was too close. I was buying other Neo items and was planning on buy this game months ago.

I was giggling like a little school girl with a crush on a college boy when I got it in the mail this morning and I have been playing the whole day. There sure are alot of paths to take. It has been said many times before, but what a masterpiece. Truly, one of the finest works of modern art.

I'm glad I've had it for a while now...good thing I didn't just get interested in it just now...

I got mine yesterday and what can I say?

I am FLOORED. I can't believe how much better this slug is than X. I used to think that X was better but now that I have MS3 again....it's far and away the most fun on the neo.

I bought the JPN 2nd run @ $265? I think.
I sold that to Playboycougar and havn't played it since. That was over a year ago...maybe 2 years ago.

Now I bought U.S. run @ $245. I'm in heaven. What a masterpiece.

I got a mvs kit for some $120. Worth every penny.

Bought the second-run MVS kit awhile back.

Definitely,the best $150 I've ever spent.

I had the US homecart, sold it with the rest of my homecarts.

Now I have the MVS kit on the way. Should get here Monday. buttrock
