Yes, I'm talking about the (in)famous Gold Warning Sticker.

On Japanese AES carts, that is.

Actually and apart form MS3 there are several carts that appears on the market with and without that one.

Metal Slug 1, Fu'un Super Tag Battle, Art of Fighting 3 FOR SURE!

others, maybe?

Actually, does anyone thinks there are chances of Japanese users removing the sticker from their own?

I've never tried myself, but looking at hte GWS (kinfa plstified, sometimes 'clumsly' attached, with nothing as a 'proper place' to le located), and thinking to its porper use (just warning, thus read and scrap), I'm starting to think that is meant to be removed.

Any opinion?

Add Twinkle Star Sprites to the list...
My legit copy doesn't have the sticker, while other copies have...
Imo, sometimes, they (the stickers) were randomly applied...

Wait, wait.

I've never seen a copy of MotW WITHOUT the seal.

Mitsu, are you saying yout BTG actually HAS the Sticker?

Now THIS is interesting.

That game is often saw without.

Brandi, thank you for your info too... never seen a TSS without the sticker.

Now I'm wondering if removing the sticker actually leaves some glue residue...

As for Pulstar, this is just plain normal.

The GWS was introduced in 1996.

The first game I've ever seen with a GWS is Breakers, I guess.

BTG was the realease just before Breakers.

It is possible some copies of BTG with GWS exist.

But as long I don't see anyone I won't state that.
