I think, with all that's coming out for the Neo so soon, they may be trying to budget the release hype.

Good Lord, I just wrote that and realized how thankful I am that such a situation can be possible: So many hyped games coming out that they need to space them out.

On topic: All I have seen are some screenshots a while back as pointed out earlier. If SNKP does have a marketing team, they may be in the trenches just waiting until all the other hype clears out....

Wouldn't it be funny if Metal Slug 5 was really a remix of metal slug 4? They'd change the name to Metal Slug X-2 and add the "Segway-Slug". There ya go guys, a compilation cart for ya.

In all seriousness though, I'm definately looking forward to this, I'd like to see another marathon last level, too.

Agreed.

I'm wishing there was more hype to Slug 5, because that's the new release I'm the most excited about. Fighting games are always great, but hellfire, Metal Slug is so damn cool. SNK struck gaming gold when they made this, I sure hope they don't allow it to become buried in the midst of everything else.

This place would be ENGULFED in flames if that happened. Seriously. It'd be as close to a site riot as the brand-new rising price AES fiasco from late '01. Playmore would get REAMED if they pulled something like that, and the sad thing is, I don't really know if I'd put it past them. mad_2
