I want to get some different perspectives of this game. Thanks for the input.

What's so great!?!?!? What's not! The backgrounds, the size of the characters, the music. I love how you can do somewhat combos.

Okay, okay, so the fighting is a little slow, who cares. It just looks beautiful to me. and very different than the previous two AOF games. The colors seem to stand out more.

Yeah, but AOF always had a bad roster.

AOF2 had a kickass roster, save a couple filler characters.

AOF3 is decent. The gameplay is too slow though (for my tastes), and the frequent knock downs are irritating, as well as simple infinities you can pull off with people. It had good potential, and is something I'd like to see in the next AOF to be corrected.

I liked the new look of the game a lot but it really wasnt all that good to me gameplay wise. Plus the game itself just felt rather stale to me...almost like they tried to TOTALLY change the series. I enjoyed the dark, dirty Southtown settings and the seedy characters you ran into (some of them becoming mainstays in the SNK universe) and 3 just stepped too far away from that for my personal taste.
