I don't have the Neo, but I heart the Garou DC has the art gallery that the Neo doesn't. Other than that, I think they are pretty much the same. Many a topics has been written about this, if you search the recent categories there's one about the sound issue and video issue of Garou DC compared to the Neo version.

Oh, and I replied to your PM regarding the Pocket Fighter and Wonderswan, neo*geo

The decision to stream voices off the disk was the main issue with Garou. If it wasn't for that, the port would've been complete. The video issue was simply because the game, from the ground up, was designed to be used on VGA monitors, so the graphics are smoothed in order to not look as pixellated when using the VGA monitor. This, in effect, makes things look a tad less sharp on TV sets. (and I mean slight)

KOF 2002, was interesting, as it seems to be loading a different set of graphics depending on whether you are using VGA mode or not.

But back to this. You'd forget you spent money on this game within a week or two. For the price, it's well worth it. It's really a no brainer as the hit to your wallet is small and forgettable.
