How many uk gamers go to casino?

Its just occured to me, casino (on tottenham crt rd) is like a majoring gaming point for a lot of players, I myself have been going there religously since the release of street fighter 92 and have seen and talked to many heads.

So who else goes there? Im the guy whos always playing Super Turbo with T.Hawk that always gets nailed by Akuma!

I go there at least once a month (when I grab my copy of Arcadia from the Japan Centre), or whenever I'm in central London with half an hour to kill.

You can usually find me at the Raiden Fighters Jet machine

Who knows, maybe one of these days they'll actually get round to fixing all the knackered joysticks on the cabs wink

Just about everytime I visit London (which isn`t often but it makes the occasion feel significant.)

Japanese arcades are probably nicer but I have to give the owners credit for actually still buying 2-D games and not getting dragged along with the `Only 3-D is good now` myth buttrock They`re probably one of the only (if not the only) arcades in the country that still has a good number of 2-D and SNk titles for play.

The arcade where I used to live in Wakefield, West Yorkshire used to have some good games but has since diminished the last I went in there before I left for Japan last year. I heard from my friends as well that in the mid-ninties the arcade was even better then when I first went in eek!

If only it wasn`t so hard to start up an arcade myself or with a friend. Then we could show folks what a good arcade is wink (shame that most arcades nowadays have to cater to the mainstream masss who seem to like 3-D, easy playing games and dance games Ah well !)

yep casino is a great place. Been going there since I started at uni in 95. Its been going since the early 80's but in its 90's heyday it was a SNK test site. I saw machines such as Kizuna and LAst blade go on test there.
And this place is amazingly good value for money with stools too.
